Joel Embiid seemingly calls out Nikola Jokic's defense, questions analytics that 'don't make sense'

Joel Embiid has lost the NBA MVP award to Nikola Jokic two years in a row, but with two weeks remaining in the 2022-23 regular season, his chances at finally winning the coveted award have never been higher. As of Monday morning, he is a minus-225 favorite at Caesars Sportsbook while Jokic (plus-175) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (plus-325) lag behind. The Philadelphia 76ers still have games remaining against Jokic's Denver Nuggets and Antetokounmpo's Milwaukee Bucks, but Embiid is undeniably in pole position as the race nears its conclusion. But that doesn't mean Embiid has gotten over the disappointment of the past few seasons. In a Q&A with The Athletic's Shams Charania, Embiid grumbled about the ways in which he believes the award's criteria changes annually while appearing to take a shot at Jokic. "The criteria does change," Embiid said. "If we want to talk about the last th...

WWE 2K23's MyRise Mode Makes Fun Of How Bad 2K20 Was

WWE 2K23 has a mission in its MyRise career mode that makes a very pointed jab at how badly WWE 2K20 was received, letting us all know that 2K is at least aware of where it went wrong. Just a few days ago, WWE 2K23 launched to some surprisingly positive reception from both critics and wrestling fans. I say surprisingly because the last few WWE Game s haven't been received quite so well, with WWE 2K20 getting particularly roasted when it released back in 2019, resulting in 2K giving the series a two-year hiatus until 2K22. Pokemon Fans Share Their Favorite Dumb Roadblocks

Pokemon has always been a series that has largely allowed you to explore each region however you like, especially nowadays as the Game s transition to an open world format. However, there have been instances where a Pokemon Game doesn't want you to venture forth until you've obtained a particular item or talked to a plot important character, setting up a creative road block to stop you from progressing. Most of these tend to come in the form of a Pokemon block ing your way (like Snorlax or Sudowoodo) or you needing a certain HM, but there have been many cases in which these road block s don't make that much sense. Pokemon fans have been sharing their favorite "dumb road block s" on the series' subreddit, showcasing just how silly they can get. Kratos Almost Had A British Voice In God Of War's Norse Saga

While doing vocal training for his role as Kratos in the Norse God of War saga, Christopher Judge initially gave the character a British accent due to a "miscommunication". When Terrence C. Carson introduced the world to Kratos in the original God of War Game s, he did so with a deep, gravelly American voice, something that Christopher Judge thankfully kept when he took over the role for the Norse saga. That almost wasn't the case, however, as a miscommunication in Judge's vocal training almost gave us a British Kratos. Related: God Of War Ragnarok Erased Freya’s Feminine Rage In a recent interview with IGN (thanks Push Square), Judge details the long journey he's had playing Kratos, from first auditioning for the character in mo-cap gear, to having to do a chemistry test with Sunny Suljic. Judge is then asked how he managed to find Kratos' voice, which prompts him to talk about one of his first days on set, where he accidentally started playing...
