Astronauts in space have seen giant angels, heard telepathic messages, and heard eerie music

Image
Back in 1985, six astronauts were on board the Soviet Salyut-7 space station just minding their own Business . Their names were as follows: Leonid Kizim, Oleg Pet kov, Vladimir Solovyov, Svetlana Savitskaya, Igor Volk, and Vladimir Jannibekov. On that faithful day, though something insane happened, a blinding light surrounded their space station, making them cower in fear in the corners of their space shuttle. After the light dissipated they spotted seven angels sitting in front of them. They were extremely tall and they had huge wings on their sides and even halos above their heads. Immediately after this encounter, the space men reported it back to their superiors upon which the whole incident was scrap...

Boomerang-shaped UFO hovered and moved slowly – Montgomery, Indiana

Image
This bright boomerang-shaped object was filmed over Montgomery, Indiana. This happened back on June 15, 2018, but was published online quite recently. Eyewitness Report: A boomerang-shaped object that appeared to be a dull silver/gay was slowly moving across the sky. It seemed to hover for a short time and then started moving again in the same direction it had come from. It was a very sunny afternoon with no clouds. We were in the middle of a soy farm on a small race track. I have about 4 minutes of video that I took with my phone. The object was very far away, but I was able to zoom in and capture it. I had to constantly move the phone to try and center it on the screen. It was hard to see it on the screen because the sun was high in the sky and it was hard for me to see my phone screen. The National’s Bryce Dessner Opens Up About Collaborating With Taylor Swift: ‘We’re All Big Fans’

Image
The National is gearing up to release their ninth studio album, First Two Pages of Frankenstein on April 28, and the band’s Bryce Dessner sat down with Hanuman Welch for ALT CTRL Radio on Apple Music 1 this week to discuss the project. Most notably,  Taylor Swift  is featured on The National’s “The Alcott,” which will be included on the forthcoming album. The National previously worked with Swift on Evermore‘s “Coney Island,” and Bryce’s brother Aaron Dessner frequently collaborates with the 11-time Grammy winner. “We’re all big fans of Taylor, and she’s been really generous with us, inviting us to be part of ‘Coney Island,’” Bryce shared. “And obviously my brother’s worked with her a lot, and I’ve done a bunch of orchestration for her albums.” He continued, “‘The Alcott’ is a song that she co-wrote with Matt [Berninger], where she co-wrote the lyrics. It’s really amazing to hear her, the way she was able to take what Matt had done and then reinvent the song, and it’s r...

Daryl Morey blames 'shameless Boston media' for Joel Embiid not being named an All-Star starter

The NBA has no greater hype man than Daryl Morey. Philadelphia's president of basketball operations once claimed that James Harden was a better scorer than Michael Jordan. Between Harden and Joel Embiid he finds ways to insert himself into the MVP conversation almost every year. But with the NBA announcing this year's All-Star starter s on Thursday, he took things in a new direction. Embiid missed the cut in the crowded Eastern Conference front-court race, and Morey blamed the media' s concentration of reporters with ties to Boston. "Completely hosed once again," Morey said on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia. "This time, to your point, the perpetrators of the crime were the shameless media, who most of them have recused themselves because they don't want the vote on something that affect players' paychecks. "But the shameless Boston media is way overrepresented. They ha...

NBA Rookie Rankings: Keegan Murray drops career-high vs. Thunder; Jeremy Sochan developing a 3-point shot

We've heard about the "rookie wall" and how it can creep up on players midway through the season and their production, efficiency and impact just take a nosedive. But what about when the opposite is happening? Maybe we call it the "rookie ladder" or the "rookie Juggernaut," you know like the superhero from X-Men whose biggest scene was literally just him breaking through a bunch of walls. Maybe this visual will jog your memory: via Gfycat The name probably still needs to be workshopped, but the point I'm trying to make is that there's a slew of rookies right now who are breaking through that rookie wall and putting together some of their best performances. Keegan Murray is arguably the best example right now, a guy who is having the best month of his young career, while also having a positive impact on a winning team. Walker Kessler is another rookie that comes to mind who...

Rupert Murdoch has pulled the plug on a proposal to merge his News Corp. and Fox Corp. In statements Tuesday, the companies said their boards received letters from Murdoch withdrawing the plan NEW YORK -- Rupert Murdoch has pulled the plug on a proposal to bring back together his News Corp. and Fox Corp., saying the merger isn't coming at the right time for shareholders. In similar statements Tuesday, the companies said their boards received letters from Murdoch withdrawing the plan. “Mr. Murdoch indicated that he and (son and Fox Corp. chief executive) Lachlan K. Murdoch have determined that a combination is not optimal for shareholders of News Corp. and Fox at this time," the statements said. The elder Murdoch first floated merging News Corp. — which owns The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, The Sun and The Times in the U.K., and book publisher HarperCollins — and Fox Corp. that controls Fox News, Fox Sports and local TV stations, in October, according to regulatory fil...

The Last Of Us Fans Are Divided Over Episode 2’s Gross Ending

The Last of Us has fungal monsters who strut around naked covered in spores, drooling from what's left of their mouths, bleeding as puss and other bodily fluids leak out of them, and it's gross. But the newest episode of the HBO show has topped it. Warning, spoilers for The Last of Us HBO Episode 2. RELATED: The Last Of Us TV Show Should Credit Bruce Straley Tess meets her end in a fiery blaze of glory, taking out all the clickers as Joel and Ellie scurry to safety. It's what we expected, knowing how she dies in the Game , but before she sacrifices herself, a clicker plants its lips on hers and some fungal tendrils sprawl into her mouth. Some have said it's a poetic end, her embracing the clickers she's about to join as her humanity clings to the lighter, while others have labelled it a disgusting and unnecessary addition to the clicker mythos that undermines Tess' end. Family of American terror victim asks Supreme Court to curb immunity for social media

Image
The family of an American college student killed in the Paris terror attacks is asking the US Supreme Court to roll back legal immunity for social media companies. NORWALK, California -- Seven years after Islamic State extremists murdered their daughter, the family of Nohemi Gonzalez, the only American killed in the 2015 Paris terror attacks, heads to the U.S. Supreme Court next month seeking to pin some responsibility for the tragedy on social media giant YouTube. "If some changes can be done to prevent these terrorist people [from] keeping killing human beings, then that is a big thing," Beatrice Gonzalez, Nohemi Gonzalez's mother, told ABC News in the family's first interview about the case. Beatrice Gonzalez alleges that Google's YouTube algorithms -- a series of proprietary software instructions which recommend video content to users -- effectively amplified Islamic State-produced materials in support of the extremists that killed her daughter, a 23-year-ol...

Mission Majnu Review: OTT star’s stamp on Siddharth Malhotra, failed in the role of RAW agent

Image
Mission Majnu Review:- Advance booking of the film ‘Pathan’, which is said to be the biggest action film of the year, is going on and before this RAW agent , the story of another RAW agent ‘Mission Majnu’ has reached Netflix. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala along with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta. Ronnie’s own company’s another film ‘Chhatriwali’ has been released on Zee5. It is also a coincidence of OTT that two films of the same producer are releasing on the same day. The case of the film ‘Mission Majnu’ is different from that of ‘Chhatriwali’ in that Sidharth Malhotra is the discovery of Karan Johar, the veteran producer of Hindi cinema. That’s why the noise of his films is also created before release. He himself is also trying to somehow make a mark for himself as an actor in Hindi cinema, but the big screen se chitki baat is not being made very effectively on OTT. A story from the p...
